Twenty one months out of a race car but here is the proof im back. The first time in the car was at redline speedway and i was more nervous than when i started racing 9 years ago ! After a hip operation i was asking myself is my body ready for this not to mention my mind. I started R.O.F in all heats and hopefully didnt get in any ones way .I came 9 th in the final out of about 20 cars and was just happy to be out on the track again .

Well the 11/12 SPEEDWAY season is  here and ive passed a medical and completed in 3 race meetings. Two at redline and one at portland speedway. The one thing ive noticed is the effort required to race near the front of the pack .At this stage 10 laps is my limit and and the body gives in and i need to slow down just to complete the race .Im hoping this will improve with time.  Abbie has go karts again and loved it.

John would like to thank everyone that has helped with the bus, race car and go kart due to his injury as he couldn't do it himself!  A special thanks to my brother inlaw Scott Peschel from Colac Otway Caravan Hire! For building the bus so if you need a caravan for your next speedway adventure call 0427591090 or find them on face book.
